Born in the UK to American parents, I made it back as soon as I could.
Well educated with a degree in paramedic science, I worked in London, England as a paramedic for 10 years. Eventually progressing onto the prestigious Motorcycle Response Unit (MRU), responding to the most critical patients across the City.
I’ve always felt the need to make and create. This really took off when I bought a 1967 Routemaster bus, renovated it and converted it into a mobile home, then toured the US in it in 2013.
After exploring this great country and settling in Texas, I bought 22 acres of undeveloped woodland in Coldspring. This is slowly being transformed into an idyllic homestead, mostly crafted by hand.
Since settling in Texas, I have gained experience installing solar power systems, backup generators as well as arboriculture and landscaping. But mainly I’ve been installing all the high quality closets provided by The Container Store. This has now extended to tackling all sorts of tricky and detail orientated projects for customers across the Houston area.
